The best gift of nature available on this earth in the form of eating and drink for living beings-without which life can not be imagined. it is called food.

The food is mainly made of Carbohydrates, Protein, Fat, Water, Vitamins, and Minerals etc. The whole Living beings can live life by adopting it and making himself healthy and well-being.

Essential elements found in food

The essential ingredients found in the food are :

(1)  Carbohydrates (2) Protein (3) Fat (4) Vitamins (5) Nucleic Acid (6) Minerals (7) Water.

To keep oneself healthy, it is necessary to include it in your diet to do any of your work successfully. Any person can do all his work successfully only when he is healthy, that means that every part of the body of that person functions smoothly.

We know that the human body is made up of five elements. They are the five element - Sky, Air,  Fire, Water, and Earth. But beyond this, we can say that the human body is composed of muscles, tissues, bones etc.

Therefore, Proteins are needed to strengthen muscles and tissues. To do any work requires energy and we get energy from carbohydrates and fats. Minerals are needed to strengthen the bones. Vitamins are needed for the development of the body.

Each person should include various nutrients in his diet according to the gender, age, and condition of his work. Like pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers often lack calcium and iron and their body is going through a phase of change, so they also require more protein and minerals. As we all know that balanced food contains foods that contain vitamins, minerals, nutrients in excess quantities. E.g.Fruits, Vegetables, Grains, Protein, Dairy Products, Fat and Sugar etc.


The nutrients in the fruit are high and it is easily digestible. Fruit should eat as per season. E.g Apple, Orange, Watermelon, Coconut, Apricot, Pineapple, Jackfruit, Raspberry, Prunes, Mango, Grape, Pear, Pomegranate etc.


More vegetables should be used in food because, in vegetables, minerals and vitamins are abundant. Green leafy vegetables should also be needed in your food.E.g.Beetroot, Kale, Spinach or palak, Collard Greens, Cabbage, Swiss chard, Broccoli, Iceberg Lettuce, Watercress, Endive etc.


Grains are mainly dry, small, hard seeds. If seen in the natural form, it has a natural layer attached to it. Our hardworking farmers produce it by working hard day and night. When the harvest is cut, the layer that is on them is taken to the mill to refresh them. So, in the end, we can say that we get it mainly from plants.E.g. Wheat, Barley, Buckwheat, Corn, Oat, Rice, Brown rice, Millet, Oatmeal, Wild rice etc.
